E$CROW BIG$: A Lifetime of Mastery, A Future Built to Be FLAWLE$$

Some artists chase music, while others embody it completely. E$CROW BIG$, born Demeris Prophet Sir in Detroit, Michigan, represents the latter. Every lyric, every note, and every beat he creates reflects a life deeply experienced and authentically expressed. As the founder of FATTMAIN RECORD$ and a multi-instrumentalist who has spent decades refining his craft, he is not seeking validation from the industry. Instead, he is focused on making a lasting impact. At 53 years old, with a lifetime of experience behind him, he brings a level of credibility and depth that cannot be replicated through shortcuts or trends.

Raised in Detroit, a city known for producing resilient individuals rather than simply artists, E$CROW BIG$ developed his identity through real-life challenges and perseverance. His connection to music began early during his time at Lillibridge Middle School, but a pivotal moment came in 1997 when he performed with his group LYRICAL DEVIANTZ in East Lansing, Michigan. That experience planted the foundation for a journey defined by determination and self-reliance. Nothing was handed to him; every skill and opportunity was earned through effort and persistence. For him, music evolved beyond entertainment into a way of life and a means of expressing personal truth. This authenticity became even more pronounced following the loss of influential figures such as 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G., which deeply affected him and inspired the creation of his track “It Ain’t All Bad,” later used as the theme for his podcast BLACK $OCIETY. His roots in Detroit, along with connections to Cleveland and Sandusky, Ohio, continue to shape his perspective and influence his work, while the legacy of his grandfather LP and father Lawrence Prophet remains a driving force behind his motivation.

E$CROW BIG$ stands apart not only for his story but also for his comprehensive mastery of music production. He is not simply an artist recording in a studio; he is the entire creative process. His skill set includes engineering, producing, and playing multiple instruments such as piano, guitar, and drums. After receiving formal training as a certified recording engineer, he went on to build several studio spaces, allowing him to maintain complete control over his sound. His creative process is deliberate and intensive, often taking months to complete a single track as he carefully constructs every element. This level of dedication ensures that his music carries emotional weight and authenticity, reflecting both his personal experiences and the realities of the communities he represents. His current focus, embodied in the project FLAWLE$$, represents his commitment to excellence and precision at this stage of his career.

At 53, E$CROW BIG$ approaches his work with a strong sense of purpose and urgency. He views his current phase not as a continuation, but as a defining moment where every release must meet the highest standard. Operating under his independent label FATTMAIN RECORD$, he oversees every aspect of his artistry, from production to distribution, ensuring that his vision remains uncompromised. His experience as a live performer, including opening for BG in Sandusky, Ohio, highlights his ability to connect with audiences beyond the studio. Additionally, his podcast BLACK $OCIETY expands his influence, offering a platform for discussion, culture, and community engagement while reinforcing his artistic message.

E$CROW BIG$ represents resilience, discipline, and authenticity in an industry often driven by trends. His journey demonstrates that success is not defined by timing alone but by consistency and commitment to one’s craft. Rather than fading over time, he has evolved, refining his skills and strengthening his voice. With FLAWLE$$ as both a project and a standard, he is positioning himself to reach a broader audience while staying true to his roots. His story is not one of missed opportunities but of persistence and growth, proving that it is never too late to make a meaningful impact.
